Climate
Africa's desert has very little rainfall and wide differences between tempatures during night and day. The reason that this particular desert is dry all year long is due to it being positioned close enough to the equator to not become a rainforest just to have little rain. It is mainly hot because it is close to the equator. The latitude of Sahara Desert is 23.806078, and the longitude is 11.288452 positioning it just above a rainforest that is just above the equator. The average yearly rainfall is less than 2cm. That proving how dry this place could be.
